Meet our Team
Lori Kobilan
Executive Director
Lori Kobilan has been the Executive Director of our community since May of 2022. She holds a BA in Business Management from Simpson College in Iowa and is a licensed administrator for assisted living in Colorado. With 45 years of healthcare experience, Lori's career began as a CNA in high school. She then worked for the Medicare Carrier and intermediary for 18 years and also gained extensive experience in skilled nursing, home health, prosthetics/orthotics, and memory care.
"My parents were older, and I have always felt a connection with older adults. I consider it an honor to work with this group of people. My goal is to ensure that the residents' needs are met, that they are safe and happy. This is their home, and I want them to feel comfortable in their environment," says Lori.
Originally from Del Norte, CO, Lori now resides in Firestone, CO, with her beloved Shih-Tzu, Bella. In her free time, she enjoys camping.
Chance Baker
Human Resources / Business Office Manager
Chance Baker joined Waneka Park in 2025 and brings over 10 years of experience in senior living business operations. He has served in human resources, payroll, and accounts payable roles at several Colorado senior care communities, building strong systems that support both staff and residents. Chance is passionate about creating a workplace where employees feel supported and residents are treated with dignity. His focus is on recruiting and retaining great team members so caregivers can deliver the highest quality care. Chance especially enjoys getting to know the residents and being part of a community that makes a difference in people’s daily lives.
Jeannie Patton
Community Relations Director
Jeannie Patton has worked in senior living for more than 30 years, serving in roles including caregiver, receptionist, sales assistant, and sales manager. Her career began after transitioning from the hospitality industry, where she discovered her passion for helping seniors and their families navigate important life transitions. As Community Relations Director, Jeannie focuses on connecting families with the right living solutions while increasing awareness of the community. She enjoys hearing residents’ life stories and building meaningful relationships. Originally born in Bangkok and raised traveling with her Air Force family, Jeannie has lived in Colorado since 1988.
Levi Bayer
Maintenance Director
Levi Bayer has more than 10 years of experience in facility maintenance and joined Waneka Park in 2024 as Maintenance Director. He is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment where residents can feel secure and at home. Levi focuses on preventative maintenance, quick response to concerns, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the community. He enjoys building relationships with residents and hearing their stories, which he says brings meaning to his work. Originally from Albia, Iowa, Levi now lives in Firestone, Colorado and enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, kayaking, and riding horses with his daughter.
Priscilla Ortegon
Resident Care Coordinator
Priscilla Ortegon has worked in healthcare for over 22 years and serves as Waneka Park’s Resident Care Coordinator. Her experience includes roles as a caregiver, CNA, QMAP, and RCC in home care, hospice, long-term care, and assisted living settings. Priscilla’s passion for caring for seniors began when her mother suffered a stroke and required 24-hour care, inspiring her to dedicate her career to helping others. She finds the greatest reward in bringing smiles to residents and knowing she has made a difference in their lives. Priscilla’s goal is to ensure residents receive excellent care while supporting staff so they can succeed in their roles.
Ann Mathias
Activities Director
With over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, Ann brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role.
Inspired by volunteering in senior retirement communities, Ann found her calling in working with seniors and has since dedicated herself to making a positive impact.
Ann values the wisdom shared by residents and cherishes the relationships she has built with them and their families.
Ann's main priority is to create fun memories and nurture relationships while enriching the lives of residents she serves.
Outside of work, Ann enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado.
Tammy Walmsley
Dietary Director
Tammy Walmsley serves as Dietary Director at Waneka Park and brings more than 30 years of culinary and food service experience. A graduate of Grasso Technical School with a degree in Culinary Arts, Tammy is passionate about preparing high-quality, delicious meals that residents enjoy. Inspired by her grandmother, she has a special appreciation for serving seniors and creating a welcoming dining experience. Tammy’s favorite part of her job is interacting with residents while cooking meals that bring comfort and joy to their day. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her large family and making lasting memories together.
Sylvia Ibarra, LPN
Health and Wellness Director
Sylvia Ibarra, LPN, serves as Waneka Park’s Health and Wellness Director and brings more than a decade of healthcare experience. She began her career as a patient sitter and later became a CNA before advancing into nursing leadership. Sylvia holds several certifications including wound care, infection prevention, MDS coordination, activities direction, and nursing assistance. She is passionate about working hands-on with residents while also leading clinical operations. Sylvia’s goal is to ensure residents receive exceptional care while supporting and training staff to deliver the highest level of service.
